Actress Rebecca Ryan has revealed that she is leaving CASUALTY as the series comes to a close this week.
Rebecca joined the show as paramedic Iain’s sister Gemma Dean in January 2017. We were first introduced to her when she was in a young offenders institute but she later became a porter in the ED. Her storylines have included running over doctor Lily Chao, helping Iain after his suicide attempt and her romance with doctor Rash.
She will be greatly missed on the show.
