Fans bid an abrupt farewell to paramedic Leon Cook this weekend played by actor Bobby Lockwood.
Having only been in the show since January of this year, Leon missed out on the permanent position to returnee Iain Dean, but is helped with a position in London that could provide more experience for his career.
His other storylines during his brief stint included a liaison with Connie’s daughter Grace.
Speaking to What’s on TV, Bobby said, ‘Representing the real heroes of our NHS, in this moment particularly, is a real privilege. I’ve really loved working with everyone at Casualty, in front and behind the camera. I’m very proud to have been a part of it!’
