Casualty has won a BAFTA a this year’s award ceremony.
The medical drama beat off competition from Eastenders and Emmerdale to claim the title of Best Soap and Continuing Drama this year.
This is the fourth year they have won a BAFTA for this category, having previously won in 2021, 2018 and 2007.
As well as praising the cast and crew, Executive Producer Jon Sen thanked doctors, nurses and paramedics who have helped inspire the show.
