Newcomer to Casualty
Actress Crystal Yu is to join the cast of CASUALTY.
Crystal will appear from Episode 1 of the new series as F2 Dr Lily Chao.
Originally from Hong Kong, Crystal came to London aged 11 after being offered a place at the prestigious Elmhurst School of Dance and Performing Arts. Her TV credits include Diamond Geezer, Shanghai, Butterfly Dreaming, Spirit Warriors and a previous guest appearance in CASUALTY back in 2010.
Crystal joins the new series with fellow cast member Chloe Howman who plays new nurse Rita. Executive producer Oliver Kent added, ‘Our two new regular characters, Lily and Rita hit the ground running and are set to create a stir in the ED.’
The new series starts on Saturday 3rd August.
