Hari Dhillon takes Leave
Following this week’s HOLBY CITY which saw character Michael Spence finding himself in trouble with the new CEO Guy Self for breaking strict rules on organ donation and forced into take a break from the hospital.
holby.tv can confirm that actor Hari Dhillon has taken an extended break from the show although the door for his return has been left ‘firmly open’.
Speaking with Digital Spy, Hari said, ‘I have had a wonderful time at HOLBY during the past six years – thank you to all the viewers for their great interest and support!’
Executive Producer Oliver Kent added ‘Whilst we’re sad to see Hari go, it is only right that we support his wish to explore other projects. We wish him the best of luck and we look forward to his return.’
