Award winning stand-up comedian and actress Andi Osho, whose previous acting credits have included Paradox, Psychoville and EastEnders, will be joining HOLBY CITY for three episodes as brassy London student Barbara Alcock.
Barbara is a mature medical student and single mother. Juggling her responsibilities may be tough, but Barbara is full of positivity, curiosity and enthusiasm plus she couldn’t be more excited to be learning from the renowned Elliot Hope, played by Paul Bradley.
Over-eager to begin with, Barbara soon blossoms under Elliot’s tuition, but when she suffers a setback academically, will he be able to give her the confidence she needs to pursue her dream of becoming a doctor?
Andi will appear in three episodes and makes her on-screen debut on Tuesday 19 June.
