Like her onscreen character Nicky McKendrick on HOLBY CITY, Belinda Owusu has announced she is expecting with her first child.
Posting an image of her baby bump on Instagram, she also revealed that she’s 40 weeks into her pregnancy.
Her character Nicky recently made the shocking discovery she was pregnant with Cameron’s child after her heart medication interfered with her getting a positive test result. She reveals the news to Cameron, who is currently tangled in his own web of lies, and viewers are unsure of how he will support the baby news.
With the show filming three months ahead, Belinda will be due to take a break from the show but it unsure as yet how her absence will be explained.
