Former HOLBY CITY actress Chizzy Akudolu is set to tread the boards this Spring.
Chizzy will appear in ‘Edmond de Bergerac’ which has it’s UK English language premiere at the Birmingham Rep from 15th March before touring to York, Northampton, Cambridge and Richmond.
She will appear alongside Freddie Fox, Henry Goodman and Josie Lawrence; Chizzy will play the role of Maria in the comedy play.
A desperate Edmond draws on his problems to write a new comedy. It will be an unbelievable tale about the demands of his producers, the whims of the actresses, the jealousy of his wife, his doubting colleagues and the romantic adventures of his best friend. It shall be called Cyrano de Bergerac!
Chizzy made a guest return to HOLBY CITY at the end of last year. She was also a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing and has made appearances on Loose Women and most recently performed in BBC drama Death in Paradise.
