Actress Gillian Kearney is set to say goodbye to CASUALTY next month after two years on the show.
Gillian, who plays nurse Jessica Harrison, told The People newspaper, ‘I’ve had some great storylines but Jess has really been through it.’
Her storylines have involved the break up of her marriage to surgeon Sean Anderson and her affair with colleague Adam, which resulted in her giving birth to Adam’s child, Harry.
On Jessica and Adam’s wedding day, shown at New Year, disaster happens when their car crashes and sinks into an icy lake leaving Jessica in a coma and her baby son dead. After waking from a coma, she now finds it a struggle to live and work with Adam, being reminded of the tragedy that occured.
In real-life, Gillian is set to wed later this year in Ireland. Her partner, a trainee doctor Eddie, whom she was introduced to by a medical advisor on the show.
