After just a year on the show, actress Niamh Walsh said goodbye to HOLBY CITY this week.
Her character, nurse Cara quits Holby for a new job and on Twitter, Niamh confirmed her departure adding, ‘Goodbye Cara, goodbye Holby City, and thank you all you truly excellent folk. It’s been a blast.’
In her short time on the medical drama, her character’s most notable storylines were her failed relationship with her undercover cop husband Jed, who fathered a child with gangster Sean’s wife and a brief will-they-won’t-they romance with surgeon Raf.
She is set to appear in a new forthcoming British drama entitled ‘Jamestown’.
