holby.tv announced the results of their annual awards – now in it’s 6th year. Viewers voted for their CASUALTY and HOLBY CITY favourites over the last year in the most accurate and comprehensive poll voted for by fans.
There were 24 categories in all to decide favourite characters, newcomers, storylines, episodes and performances.
In CASUALTY, Ruth Winters and Adam Trueman were voted favourite female and male of Series 23, whilst Ruth & Jay’s romance proved popular by being voted best storyline and best couple of the series.
Whilst in HOLBY CITY, Connie Beauchamp played by Amanda Mealing remained a dominant force at the top of many categories and Sam Strachan was voted Best Male and Most Want to Return.
