holby.tv can confirm that actress Jane Hazlegrove is leaving Casualty at the end of this month.
As one of the shows current longest serving cast members, having joined in 2006 and appearing in over 400 episodes, Jane will be hugely missed on the show.
She has had a number of big storylines over the years, most notably her paramedic partnership with Jeff Collier. The friends married but tragedy struck when Jeff was killed in a car explosion whilst on duty.
Jane’s last episode will screen on 30th January.
