Former HOLBY CITY actress Niamh Walsh will be appearing in Sky’s new drama Jamestown.
Niamh, who played nurse Cara in Holby City for a year, having left last June, will play one of three of the leading ladies. Her character is called Verity Bridges and she will star alongside Sophie Rundle and Naomi Battrick.
Filmed in Budapest over six months, Niamh says ‘All three women are pinning their hopes on this brave new world, but of course it never works out that way. The women all open up to each other about what went on in their lives beforehand. It’s a weird thing to do, to come out to this place, and you gradually learn why each of them has chosen to do so. It’s different for everyone.’
10-part series Jamestown starts on Sky 1 on 5th May 9pm.
