The Sun has revealed that HOLBY CITY actress Patsy Kensit is leaving the show.
Patsy, who plays nurse Faye in the medical drama, has decided to quit. She finishes filming in September and will be onscreen till the end of the year.
Patsy said, ‘I have had a fantastic time playing Faye but I felt it was the right time to move on.
‘I will really miss the cast and crew, but not the long hours! It has been lots of fun but very hard work. Although it can be a tough schedule at Elstree Studios, I will be very sorry to say goodbye to the fantastic team there.’
It has been revealed that her character WON’T be killed off. Patsy already has other acting projects in the pipeline and is due to release an autobiography next February.
Patsy is the third recent departure to have been announced. Rebecca Grant (Daisha) and Phoebe Thomas (Maria) are also leaving the show.
