Rosie in Charity Trek

HOLBY CITY actress Rosie Marcel is to take time off from filming in September to do a charity trek in Romania’s Carpathian Mountains.

Rosie, who plays surgeon Jac Naylor in HOLBY CITY, will be fundraising on behalf of the World Society for the Protection of Animals. She says, ‘I’m sure it will be amazing, especially when we visit WSPA’s new bear sanctuary, which will be the climax of the trek for me.’

The new bear sanctuary funded by WSPA, is home to some 40 bears rescued from illegal and sub-standard zoos around the country.
