Episode Summary
Ric wants to save Maria’s life following her accident but allows conflicts at work to get in the way. When he discovers that Michael is the new director of surgery, Ric accuses him of getting the job by unfair means but they pull together to save Maria.
As news of Maria’s accident spreads, Oliver tries to make sure the shift continues to run as smoothly as possible, but emotions run high when the driver of a hit-and-run is admitted to Holby.
Jac, meanwhile, embraces the opportunity to run Darwin while Connie is away, although she didn’t anticipate Joseph and Faye’s relationship affecting her chances of impressing Michael.
