Episode Summary
Ed is fed up with Tom’s controlling behaviour and is delighted when, thanks to Zubin’s faith and persuasion, he is given an operation of his own to perform.
Chrissie looks askance at Owen’s flirtation with a young nurse. She becomes irrationally jealous and wants to put him in his place.
Mubbs is nervous when she begins to make suggestions about her New Year’s Eve romance. Pre-empting the possibility she might use their one-night stand as a weapon against Owen, Mubbs insists she keep their liaison secret.
Meanwhile, Tricia persuades Kath her to join her and Diane for a drink, and Rosie tries desperately to track down her kids.
