Two more CASUALTY webisodes are set to be aired, the first to be shown after next week’s show.
CASUALTY’s junior editorial team submitted ideas for the exclusive webisodes and team researcher Ross Southard’s pitch entitled ‘Radio Holby’ was victorious.
Part One was written by now Script Editor Simon Norman and Part Two by Ross Southard, both were directed by Kodjo Tsakpo and shot by Simon Walton.
Radio Holby focuses on Noel, played by Tony Marshall, who has always dreamt of being a DJ and decides to follow his dream to give the team a boost following the recent death of their colleague Jeff.
Talking to BBC Casualty, Ross Southard said ‘It has been a fantastic experience writing a webisode for Casualty and to see our scripts realised by some of the best in the business. I’m very proud and grateful to the ever brilliant and ever supportive Casualty team for the opportunity to bring this idea to life.’

Part one of Radio Holby will be live on the BBC Casualty website post episode on Saturday 1th8 October, with the part two airing after episode eight on Saturday 25th October.
