Two new actresses are joining the cast of Holby City.
Former Eastenders star Belinda Owusu (pictured) and Doctors actress Salma Haque will be playing F1’s Nicky McKendrick and Meena Chowdhury.
Series producer Kate Hall revealed about the characters; ‘Friends from medical school, Nicky and Meena will have their work cut out as Holby’s fresh F1’s. Thrown into a fiercely rivalrous, fast-paced surgical world, they will need to go all out to impress senior-ranking consultants and as the young doctors fight to survive, their friendship will be sorely tested…’
They will make their debut onscreen on 12th December.
